2014 Statistical Tables
2014 Statistical Tables
Dear Pastor, Finance Committee Chair and Treasurer,
Welcome to the 2014 Statistical Table Process (the “Tables”) in which you will be reporting your 2013 data. The Tables will be available for eight weeks beginning Monday, February 10, 2014, until the evening of Monday, April 7, 2014.
The Tables consist of three tables: Membership Data, Financial Data and Stewardship Data. They are used by both the NYAC and General Church for general information, decision making and to set apportionments. The Book of Discipline requires pastors “to give an account of their pastoral ministries to the charge and annual conferences…”. The pastor is therefore responsible for the Tables and should thoroughly review them for accuracy. The data should be prepared by various committees and individuals within the church. Certain lines within Table II-Financial Data are used exclusively for determining your church’s 2015 apportionment. Preliminary apportionment data based upon the Tables will be published in June. Once final apportionments are published in early October we are unable to make further adjustments. Accordingly, please ensure that sufficient time and resources are used in preparing and submitting accurate data.
The Tables are located at ezra.gcfa.org. The system has been set up for two users from each church. We have designated them as the “Pastor” and “Office.” Your initial user name for logon is “341” plus your NYAC church number plus the letter “ p” for pastor login or the letter “o” for office login, eg: 34112345p. If you do not know your church number, you can find it on any church statement, HealthFlex/Pension bill or in the NYAC Directory. Your temporary password is NYAC341 for both the pastor and office logon. The password is case sensitive. When you first logon using the temporary password you are required and will be prompted to change your password.
A more detailed discussion of the Tables is available on the conference website www.nyac.com/tables
Each district has a District Statistician that can assist you with any questions you may have. Their contact information is available on both the NYAC and ERZA websites, see links above.
