Update from Nora Asedillo Cunningham in the Philippines

3/26/2015

Greetings!

I hope that this message finds you well. For those that I have not met, my name is Nora Asedillo Cunningham, and I am a Global Mission Fellow International of the 2014-2016 class.  The Global Mission Fellow program is one of three tracks of Generation Transformation, the young adult missionary programming of the General Board of Global Ministries.  My term is to serve 20 months internationally and then 4 months in my home country.  Click to read the newsletter for my first 6-months serving in Manila, Philippines!

I am so thankful for everyone who has been sending me constant love and support on this journey.  Whether it has come in prayers, emails, real and virtual hugs, donations, and other forms of love, I really appreciate it all from the bottom of my heart.

It has truly be a journey of vulnerability and spiritual growth so far, and each time I send out this newsletter I imagine I will have discovered something(s) new in perspective, growth, and my purpose.  I hope that what I have shared in this newsletter is able to provide some amount of a clear picture as to the transformation happening in my life.

For anyone interested in more information about the Global Mission Fellows, or any other of Generation Transformations programs, don't hesitate to ask!  The website is umcmission.org/gt for quick reference, and I am always available to share more.

I think most everything I have to say is in the newsletter, but thank you all again for thinking of me and caring for me and the other missionaries from all over the world. Please feel free to forward or share this newsletter as you would like.  We're looking to spread the word!

With love and peace,

Nora Asedillo Cunningham
