Tech Tip #5 - Opening .xlsx and .docx Files

When Microsoft updated their "Office" products — Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. —  in 2007, the files created with the newer versions now have extensions with "x" at the end: .xlsx, .docx, etc.  These files cannot be directly opened in the older versions of Office. There are two ways that you can open these files, without having to purchase the newer version of Office.

Tech Tip #4 - Registering for Annual Conference

This is our 4th year using the online registration system built in to the Conference's Web/database system, and the 2nd year using the newer version. Although things seem to be going rather smoothly this year, there are a few issues that still get in the way: AOL users ability to register, and that Captcha at the bottom of the form.
