Keeping your anti-virus software and virus definitions up to date are two of the most important steps in protecting your computer and your valuable data. Here are my some of my favorite anti-virus products:
Norton Anti-Virus. This has been a proven virus fighter for many years, is available in both PC and Mac versions, and you don’t have to pay full price! Buy a multiple-seat license and split the cost with others. Right now, you can buy a 3-computer, PC license from Amazon for $25. Click here>>
Microsoft Security Essentials. FREE (yes FREE!) anti-virus, anti-spyware software from Microsoft. All you need is a legal copy of Windows. Who would know better how to protect your PC than the folks who created most of the software it runs, and understand its vulnerabilities? Click here>>
iPad Users. You don’t need anti-virus software (at least not yet)! The only code that is allowed to execute on the i Operating System (iOS) is code that came from the App Store, which means it has been examined and approved by Apple. Read more>>
