April 13, 2016

“I’m not very big,” said the Little Blue Engine. “I have never been over the mountain.” “But we must get over the mountain before the children awake,” said all the dolls and the toys. The little engine looked up and saw the tears in the dolls’ eyes. Bishop Middleton's Easter Message

Bishop Jane Allen Middleton

March 23, 2016

He did not like what he was thinking, but even so, the thoughts kept coming. Up until this point, he had always been sure of his faith. Now he was thinking his faith was wavering and he did not like that reality. He talked one day, unloading his situation and his reason for wondering if his faith would...

Dearest friends in Christ,   Greetings and peace to you all!  I pray that you and your families and loved ones are well.  Here in New York, the winter weather is quickly receding, and already little buds of flowers are appearing in the moist, warming soil.  We give thanks to God for the coming spring, and for the season of resurrection that awaits us in these next weeks.  May your hearts be filled with hope and joyful expectation, as we await the celebration of Jesus' victory over sin and death,...
