Corrections/Amendments Mandated by Annual Conference that Are Not Reflected in Printed Reports:

• P. 265, “Unity in Conference”; correction mandated p. 75, item #3030

Reports, Petitions, Resolutions Accepted by Conference but Omitted from the Journal:

• Petition #2007-328, “Resolution on the Peaceful Reconciliation of Korea” (p. 76, #3035) Note from Barbara: Ian's changes did not indicate "AC" or "GC"

Pages 281, 282, 282.1, 282.2>> Incorporate these changes:

Reports, Petitions, Resolutions Accepted by Conference but Omitted from the Journal:

• Petition 2007-601 “Translation of Documents for General Conference” (p. 81, #6010) Note from Barbara: Ian's changes did not indicate "AC" or "GC"

Miscellaneous Errors

• Petition #2007-404 “Remove Requirement of Charge Conference Approval for Licensed Local Pastors in Book of Discipline ¶312.1” (p. 78, #4013) mislabeled as “Petition GC #2007-319” (p. 271)

Note from Bob Miller: Petition # 2007-404 on page 271 is, in my view, appropriately shown as a petition to the general conference as it requests a change in the Book of Discipline – beyond the authority of an annual conference.

Note from Barbara: I moved this petition to the appropriate position for 2007-404 (as it seems that Bob and Ian agree on the relocation), and left the "GC" in front of the title. Ian's note to correct this did not indicate whether it should say, "AC" or "GC"

Additional notes:

Note from Barbara: There are 2 versions of the Tien Fu Corporate Resolution -- the one that was printed in the journal and a more extensive one that was included in the folder I received from the archives with a hand-written note that showed that it passed on 6/12/09. We need to determine which is the correct resolution.

Note from Barbara: In the folder from the archives, there is a separate resolution regarding the discontinuation of the Lexington church. A handwritten note says, "submitted separately by church persons." There is no record in the Journal (in the resolutions section, nor in the minutes) about this resolution.

Full Corrected 2008 General Conference Amendments Document>>

Note from Barbara: This was not on Ian's original list, and may not be necessary (please advise). One amendment did not pass, and one did not pass by a 2/3 majority. Should these be removed from the Journal? Also, the rationale for each amendment was printed in the pre-conference report, but not in the Journal. I have added those here. Do they belong? (See minutes page 57)

Budget

Notes from Barbara:

Page 65, amendment made in plenary session not reflected in final budget. (change is now incorporated in CFA report)
