school-age teacher training at Jesse Lee UMC,
Ridgefield, CT, 9:30 am-3:30 pm; featuring
interactive teaching tools, classroom setup and
management and a special emphasis on children's
spirituality. Presented by Lynda Gomi,
Children's Consultant and Ann Pearson.

ING  Race for Mission
Marathon
Join Bishop Park on Saturday, October
10, in Bushnell Park, Hartford, at 8:00 AM and
is in connection with the Hartford Marathon and
the Bishop's Partners in Mission. There
are several distances to choose from, including
a Kids Run and Team Relay. Click on

published and is available for viewing

- WORSHIP PLANNING CALENDARS for 2009 and 2010 are available free simply by
downloading them. They are extremely
helpful for worship leadership teams, church
school and others. Or, if you
prefer, there is a 2-page Revised
Common Lectionary 2009 that includes
holidays, special Sundays and liturgical
colors. This is a helpful reference for
Altar Guilds, worship leadership teams, and
others.
