Genealogy Workshop

Retirement, if not now?  When?
Wednesday, April 14 the Conference Board of Pensions and Health Benefits invites you to attend a pre-retirement seminar for clergy and spouses and lay employees (vested in the General Board Pension program).  Attendance will be limited to 50 participants including spouses who may wish to attend.  Reservation deadline is before March 29.  For information and to register click Pre-retirement seminar>.

United Methodist Church - Episcopal Church Dialogue
On Tuesday, February 23 at 1:00 pm The Methodist-Episcopal Dialogue Team of the New York Conference invites you to a lecture and discussion by the Rev. Dr. J. Robert Wright, Professor of Ecclesiastical History at General Theological Seminary at the Episcopal Church Center, 815 Second Avenue in Manhattan.  Father Wright will address issues pertinent to the hoped-for full communion status between the United Methodist Church and the Episcopal Church in 2012.  Please RSVP your attendance to Rev. The UMC Black College Fund Committee Annual Luncheon

New York Methodist Hospital 2010 Pastors' Health Clinics
All Districts, Pastors' Health Clinics are scheduled to run April 12-16, 2010 and November 8-12, 2010.  The respective registration and payment deadlines are March 26th and October 22nd, 2010.

The Harry Denman Evangelism Youth Award

New 2010 VIM Bolivia Trip

Engage Conflict Well - Case Studies

Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for U.S. Haitians

"The Calling"
Mission Fair begins March 21 at 2:00 PM and continues after the concert.  The Calling concert is a celebration of dance and song with Jana Stanfield, The Sounds of Afrika drummers and the Moving in Grace dancers from Westport/Weston UMC.

    • Revised Common Lectionary for 2010 is available free simply by downloading it.  This is a helpful reference for Altar Guilds, worship leadership teams, and others.
