The purpose of Schools of Christian Mission and Mission Education Events shall be to provide opportunities for persons to grow in understanding of the mission of the church in the current world context. They shall initiate opportunities for spiritual and educational experiences, especially in preparation for leadership roles in United Methodist Women, the church and the world.

You will need to make your own housing reservations. A block of rooms is reserved at the Ethan Allen Hotel, Danbury, CT. You and your roommate(s) can book a room on-line at ethanallenhotel.com or by calling 1-800-742-1776. Tell them you are with the United Methodist Women’s Group and you need to reserve a room for July 19th & 20th, 2012. The single occupancy accommodation cost for all attendees is $109.00 plus tax, per night. This includes breakfast for one. Each extra person per room is $10.00 per night (double $119, triple $129, quad $139). Housing reservation cutoff date is June 20, 2012. The Hotel requires a credit card to swipe at check-in even if you intend to pay cash.

Each child's registration form must be accompanied by a sponsor covenant form filled out by the sponsor (or parent if attending) AND a parental consent form filled out by a parent or guardian.
Each youth's registration form must be accompanied by a sponsor covenent form filled out by the sponsor (or parent if attending) AND a parental consent form filled out by a parent or guardian AND a youth covenant form filled out by the youth and signed by the pastor.
