News from Mission Central - 3,300 Health Kits Received!

6/12/2014

Executive Director Rob Visscher attended the New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church last week at Hofstra University.

Conference Mission Coordinator Rev. Joseph Ewoodzie is a big supporter of Mission Central.  He tasked Patricia Hylton with collecting health, school, and birthing kits.  As you can see, churches jumped into action!!  They sent Mission Central 60 boxes of kits.  Each box contained an average of 55 kits.  Most were health kits.

In a phone interview, Patricia Hylton told me it is important to collect kit items because "In case of an emergency, help may be needed from various countries or people at various times... and it is important to support missions and people."

The kits arrived at
Mission Central last Friday.  Our volunteers will spend the next few weeks verifying all of the contents.

As we have said, Mission Central would not exist without our faithful supporters.  Either through volunteers or donors.
Please prayerfully consider how you might be able to support Mission Central's mission of "connecting God's resources with human need."

Blessings,
