This position works cooperatively with the Director of Connectional Ministries and other UMC leaders to communicate, inform, coordinate and manage programs for clergy and lay members of the New York Annual Conference. The position requires high attention to detail and professionalism, with a team-player attitude and excellent customer-service and interpersonal skills. We are searching for someone with initiative, organizational skills and conceptual intelligence; a proactive problem solver with good judgment and detail oriented. This is a full-time position (35 hrs per week) which requires flexibility in scheduling as frequent evening and weekends are required.

The successful candidate must possess: a high school diploma or equivalency and at least 5 years of experience in an office environment where their primary function was performing administrative processes; a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Publisher and Outlook email and calendar; excellent command of the English language and grammar with the ability to proof-read and edit written materials. Salary range $35,000 - $40,000 per year; full benefits.
