Dear New York Annual Conference Family:
It is with excitement and joy that I announce that the Reverend Dr. Javier A. Viera, Executive Minister at Christ Church in New York City, has been chosen as the new Dean of Drew University Theological School. Concurrently, Javier will be appointed AIEM to that position July 1, 2014.
Javier goes with our prayers and support, and we look forward to deepening the connection between the New York Annual Conference and Drew University Theological School as this new journey begins.
We will have an opportunity to celebrate Javier’s appointment at Annual Conference. We thank God for this amazing time in his life and in the life of the New York Annual Conference.
