George B. Mangan
Rev. George Mangan grew up in Hicksville, NY as a member of The United Methodist Church. He developed and directed a young adult ministry which later expanded to include several of the Long Island East District churches. He received a Master of Divinity degree from New Brunswick Theological Seminary, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in music performance and education and a Master of Science degree in special education from C. W. Post College, Long Island University.

Before he accepted his call to ministry, he worked for eight years with EAC Inc. in the Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse in conjunction with the Nassau County Department of Drug and Alcohol in the area of teaching and evaluation. Through his past work with EAC and his pastoral ministry, he realized the power of God's grace to comfort us in our times of struggle and show us a new way. He has been married to Virginia (Ginny) for 33 years and they have two daughters, Christine and Rebecca.
