Reverend Wayne Redman first responded to the call to spread the Good News by becoming an Inquiring Ministry Candidate in 2008.
A graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, Rev. Redman followed the path of Laity Servant Ministry by becoming a Lay Servant, Lay Speaker and a Certified
Lay Servant. In March 2017, he became a Certified Lay Minister.
Rev. Redman has provided support and help to those within as well as outside of the walls of the church through pastoral care both in-home and through hospital visitations, bible study and men’s ministry,
Rev. Redman has served as Associate Lay Leader in the Long Island East District and has been a pastoral assistant at the Centerport United Methodist Church since April 2018. He went on to complete his local pastor licensing in December 2019 and in February 2020 he was re-certified as a candidate for ordained ministry and recommended for his local pastor license.
Rev. Redman resides in Long Island with his wife Doreen, and their twin daughters Alexis and Chelsea.
