Pastor Jessica Brooks, originally from South Carolina, considers herself an adapted New Yorker.

Pastor Brooks graduated with honors from Nyack College’s Alliance Theological Seminary in 2017, earning a Master of Divinity with a focus on Bible and Theology and a concentration in Biblical Hebrew. While at Alliance, she helped plant Creator’s Voice in Chinatown, New York, while also serving as the music director and main keyboardist for Cathedral International North Hills Family Church in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

Pastor Brooks went on to continue her studies at Princeton Theological Seminary, where she earned her Master of Theology in Church History. At Princeton, her studies focused on Black church studies and her research centered on the shaping of antebellum southern Black evangelicalism and its continued theological legacy within the root system of the traditional Black church.

Pastor Brooks is a proud graduate of Howard University, where she first became a disciple of Jesus Christ. She is currently pursuing PhD studies at Columbia International University and has served as an associate pastor in the Greater New Jersey Conference.

Her living mission is to “expound the gospel, engage the culture.”
