Bonnie J. Snyder
Pastor Bonnie J. Snyder has deep roots within the Methodist church. The Church has nurtured and sustained countless generations on her mother’s side of the family and continues to do so by providing a source of hope and love when there was none. Because of this valued legacy, Pastor Snyder counts her great, great, great grandmother’s Methodist Hymnal from 1849 as one of her most prized possessions.
Pastor Snyder received an Associate Degree in Science from Columbia-Greene Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies from the College of Saint Rose. She also earned Continuing Professional Education credits from the Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, New Jersey before advancing her studies at Drew Theological School, where she earned a Master of Divinity (MDiv).
Pastor Snyder’s passions in ministry are advocacy and mission work. She firmly believes in the idea that “one church, many faces, many places, equates to much love” and knows that heeding the call to serve God comes with an invitation to be inspired, to learn, to share our lives with all whom we meet, and to truly be the hands and feet of Christ.
When she’s not in service, Pastor Snyder loves a strong cup of tea, being with friends and family, traveling, listening to music, and having quiet moments with her two cats, Midnight and Muffin Mix.
