Global Ministries Overview

Global ministries connects the church in mission through the sending of missionaries, evangelism and church revitalization, as well disaster response and recovery led by the United Methodist Committee on Relief and
global health. 

God calls missionaries from communities everywhere in the world to serve in communities anywhere in the world. United Methodist missionaries serve as evangelists, health professionals, educators and agriculturalists. Missionaries care deeply about people, following Christ's example of unconditional love going wherever God leads.

To keep missionaries in service it takes faithful givers like you who not only give, but also pray for your missionaries and the communities they serve. Included in the Missionary Catalog that you can access here and below are the names, programs and contact information for missionaries that participated in Global Ministries’ virtual #StillInMission series this year.

If you, your family, or your church do not yet have a missionary you support, we encourage you to get to know the missionaries within the New York Annual Conference, spend a bit of time reading their communications with us about how they are advancing in their call, and reach out to Jill Wilson, Conference Secretary of Global Ministries with any questions you may have about NYAC missionaries.
