Let us remember Mrs. Cherry Grossman who was born on December 21, 1921 and died on July 16, 2014 at 92 years of age. Cherry and the Reverend Chester E. Grossman were married in December 1969 during his third year as Superintendent of the Hudson West District (1967-1973). Cherry was born in Cuero, Texas and graduated from high school in San Antonio, and went on to be trained as a bookkeeper. Later she served on the New York State Committee to establish the Girl Scout “God and Community Award.” ...
