A recent “Let Us Remember” announcement notified the New York Conference of the death of the Reverend L. Lester McGonagle on April 18, 2015.
When “Les” as he was known retired he and his wife, Martha relocated to Lakeland, Florida. A gathering of family and friends celebrated his life and ministry on April 22, 2015 at the College Heights UMC in Lakeland.
Today, the Secretary received word that a service and committal is planned for this Saturday, May 30, 2015, 11:00 AM at the Methodist Chapel, Union Valley Cemetery, Sandy Street and Union Valley Road, Carmel, NY 10512.
