Let us remember with thanksgiving the life and ministry of Margaret (Peg) Bloom, who died on May 3, 2015 at 82 years of age. She was the wife of the Reverend Arthur Bloom who served 40 years in ministry in the Susquehanna and New York Conferences. Rev. Bloom retired in 1992.

Peg met Arthur Bloom when he was an assistant minister for her father. Together they served in five United Methodist churches. After their retirement, Art continued to preach with Peg by his side.

Peg was a gifted educator teaching four and five year olds with special needs. Peg was involved in the churches her husband served as secretary, Sunday School teacher, leader of numerous committees and frequent pianist.

Peg and Art enjoyed over twenty years of retirement. They split their time between their camp on Groton Pond, Vermont and Rio Valley Estates, Texas.

Surviving are Arthur, her husband of 61 years and children Bryan and Joyce.
