Let us remember with thanksgiving the life and ministry of Carol Hope Davison, who died on June 30, 2015 at 83 years of age. She was the wife of the Reverend E. Burton Davison who served over 40 years in ministry in the New York Conference. Rev. Davison retired in 1997.

After graduating from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, NY Carol worked as a music teacher. As a clergy spouse she was active in the music programs of the many United Methodist churches her husband pastored. Carol also enjoyed writing. She was a devoted mother and remained connected to her extended family and the many friends she made over the years.

Carol lived in Long Island, Brooklyn, and Kingston. She and her husband moved to Langhorne, Pennsylvania six years ago.

Daughter of the late Milton and Marjorie (Roth) Gillespie, Carol is survived by her husband, Rev. E. Burton Davison of Langhorne, PA; two sons and daughters-in-law Daniel and Vivian Davison of Falls Township, PA and Michael Davison and Xiu (Sunnie) Chen of Brooklyn, NY; one daughter and son-in-law Ellen Davison and Chris Wright of Rail Road Flat, CA; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held on July 2 at the Morrisville United Methodist Church, 501 W. Maple Ave., Morrisville, PA.
