Mrs. I Hyong (Song) Del Giudice

Let us remember with thanksgiving the life and ministry of I Hyong (Song) Del Giudice, 76, who died at her home on Monday, March 29, 2021.

Song was born on November 6, 1945 in Seoul, Republic of Korea, the daughter of Song Sung Young and Kim In Yol.

Song served diligently as a “Pastor’s Wife” to her husband, Rev Mark Del Giudice, for many years in many communities. Those communities and churches included Great Hill UMC in Seymour, CT; First UMC in Walton, NY; Bloomville UMC in Bloomville, NY; and Central Korean UMC in Tuckahoe, NY. She was currently a member of Ardsley UMC in Ardsley, NY. Her cheerfulness, hospitality, faithfulness, and discipleship was appreciated by all who knew her.

Song is survived by her devoted husband of more than 51 years, the Rev. Mark Del Giudice; her four brothers and one sister, all residing in South Korea; her sister, Jung Han of Port St. Lucie, FL; her niece, Jennifer Kim, and grandnephew, Christian, of Fairfield, VA;  her nephew, Andrew Han of Orlando, FL; her brother in law, Paul Del Giudice of Fallbrook, CA; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Del Giudice of Marion, SC and Debbie Mahony of Bronxville, NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 10:00am at Ardsley United Methodist Church, 525 Ashford Avenue, Ardsley, NY 10502. Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 101 Mill Street, Putnam Valley, NY 10579. Visiting hours will be at Ruggiero Funeral Home, 732 Yonkers Ave. Yonkers, NY 10704 (phone number: 914-375-1400) from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday April 5, 2021. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to any food bank or food ministry of your choosing.
