Ms. Jean Bainbridge

Let us remember with thanksgiving the life and ministry of Jean Bainbridge, who died on November 17, 2015 at 90 years of age. She was the wife of the Reverend Ralph Bainbridge who served in the New York Conference from 1962 until 1986. Rev. Bainbridge died in 2006.

Mrs. Bainbridge was born March 27, 1925. She married Ralph Bainbridge in 1947 and they had one daughter, Wendy Jean.

Jean and Ralph lived on Long Island during his time as dean at Camp Quinipet on Shelter Island, NY. While Ralph attended school, they served the Springdale Church in Stamford, CT, Dover, NJ, and Myrtle Beach Community in Milford, CT. In 1966 they served the congregation in Elmhurst, NY and then went on to Greenwich: First, Rowayton (Norwalk), and Ansonia, CT.

Upon retirement from ministry in 1986 they moved to South Carolina and then to Atlanta, GA, where Jean died.
