The Reverend Anne Bracket

Let us remember with thanksgiving the life and ministry of Rev. Anne-Marie Bracket, 65 of Safety Harbor, FL who passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Anne was born in Bristol, CT to the late Vernon M. Bracket and Glenna (Sweet) and predeceased by a brother Jimmy.

Anne was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church in Hartford, CT and was ordained  an Elder in June 2002. Anne served the following churches in the New York Conference: Rocky Hill UMC, Hamden Plains UMC, Simsbury UMC (Associate), Darien UMC, and Yalesville UMC.  During her time in ordained ministry Anne went to Sudan, Honduras and Nicaragua on mission trips. Anne retired in June 2022 and relocated to Florida.
 
She leaves a beloved son, Jess Bracket of FL; and a special “daughter” Bobbie Bergeron Kask with whom she shared a special bond and her loving grandson, Michael “Mikey” Anthony Kask, both of West Hartford. Anne meant so much to so many people. She was always there to give guidance, lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

A Celebration of Life will be on Monday July 17, 2023 at 10:00am at United Methodist Church  of Hartford, 571 Farmington Ave Hartford CT 06105. With Rev. David Piscatelli officiating. This is the church that sent Anne into ministry. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
