Let us remember the life and ministry of Rev. Byung (Joseph) Mo Kim who died on Monday, December 4, 2017. Rev. Kim is the husband of Pastor Jane Kim who serves at Vail’s Gate United Methodist Church in New Windsor, NY.

Rev. Kim was born on November 3, 1962 in Seoul, South Korea to John Kim and Myung Ae Lee. He immigrated to the United States in November 1980. He graduated from McCormick Theological Seminary and received his D.Min. from New York Theological Seminary. He was an ordained Presbyterian clergy who led a congregation in Central Valley, NY.

Rev. Kim was the founder of Go Leaders Ministry and dedicated his time traveling to Guatemala every year to educate local Christian leaders.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Kim; his children Christine and Joshua; and his daughter-in-law, Yeajinn.

Funeral services were held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Kim Funeral Home in Fort Lee, NJ. Burial was at the Rockland Cemetery, 201 Kings Highway, Sparkhill, NY 10976.
