BOOM Orientation to Ministry 2020

Orientation to Minister 2020 banner

You come to this time in your life to focus on your place in the ministry of all believers. Slowing down, making time for reflection and prayer, practicing how to listen with both your heart and your head: these are some of the ways you will be invited to understand better who you are —and who God is calling you to be. (Answering the Call, Candidacy Guidebook, page 12)

The “Orientation to Ministry” is an annual event required by the Book of Discipline for persons being certified as a candidate for ministry. In response to this expectation, the Board of Ordained Ministry of the New York Annual Conference is hosting a virtual event on August 22, 2020.
