Four-Minute Prayers

The Council of Bishops is encouraging intentional engagement by United Methodists worldwide by asking everyone to pause and pray each day for the special-called General Conference from 2:23 through 2:26.

Invitation to Prayer & Fasting

As a part of the “Praying Our Way Forward” initiative, all United Methodists are invited to engage in a weekly Wesleyan 24-hour fast from Thursday after dinner to Friday mid-afternoon. Those who have health situations causing food fasts to be unadvisable might consider fasting from social media, emails or another daily activity. Fasting resources may be found at https://umcprays.org/local-church-helps/.

Prayer Names for Each Week

A group of delegates and others who will be involved in GC2019 are the focus of our prayers. See the latest weekly list at: https://umcprays.org/events/.

Daily Meditations

Includes a prayer theme, a designated Psalm to read, and a psalm prayer. You may also leave a comment on each post. Sign up for daily emails here. https://umcprays.org/meditations/
